Royal Dutch Shell Plc, Europe's largest oil company by market value,
plans to expand the capacity of its liquefied natural gas import
terminal in India to 3.5 million tons. The expansion will cost
"less than $100 million," Vikram Singh Mehta, chairman of Shell India
Ltd., told reporters in New Delhi Friday. The unit imports 2.5 million
tons a year. Capacity expansion at the terminal, which is
operating at 110 per cent capacity, will be completed in the "next few
months," Mehta said.
